Ms, Becker has bipolar disorder and was appointed to the Early Psychosis Intervention Plus (AB1315) Advisory Committee under the California Mental Health Services Oversight and Accountability Commission in 2019. In her free time, she is an advocate for Mental Health Policy and currently is focused on improving the standard of care in LPS facilities, as well as the proliferation of 2-year and 4-year occupational certifications in mental health work in our state colleges in order to build a workforce for paraprofessional mental health outreach. California is in a massive staffing deficit when it comes to tackling issues such as increasing diversity in mental health services, self-harm intervention, in-patient & outpatient peer-level counseling, addressing mental health stigma, and early intervention in serious mental illness, including the intersection of this work in underserved communities and homeless populations.
When Ms. Becker is disabled by her condition, it is apparent. Otherwise, the image to the right demonstrates the rate of productivity Ms. Becker is capable of sustaining for vocational and avocational purposes-- and often does on a regular basis. This image specifically shows Ms, Becker's iPad usage of nearly 60 out of 60 minutes for 15 hours straight while completing the "Environmental Policy Quests" animation that can be found in the "Animations" subsection of the "Comics" section of this website. If you've read this far and you actually are a private investigator, you should consider increasing your rates for this job. I'm a lot to take in, and this is just what I do in a mere portion of my free time.

The two photographs to the left demonstrate some of the general range of Ms. Becker's personality. The top photo of Ms, Becker in a blazer was taken prior to remotely attending a Zoom court hearing. Like most remote video appearances, she woke up 90 minutes early to clean her persistently, disastrously messy apartment. The bottom photograph shows Ms. Becker having an existential crisis because she bought social media influencer merchandise based on a viral TikTok campaign that seemed organic but was later exposed as being planned and coordinated with the corporate benefactor, devaluing the significance of the merchandise. Ms. Becker grew up in Covina and was a proud member of the South Hills High School Band, playing the marching bass drum, jazz bass guitar, and timpani. She graduated from Mt. Sac Community College (2008), UC San Diego (Psychology - 2010), and Western State College of Law (2015) swearing into the California State Bar in 2015. She recently obtained an Associate's Degree in Public Policy from Santa Monica College (2021). Below is an example of how Ms. Becker utilizes her Public Policy degree and art to provide constructive criticism to select members of the state legislature. |
